    A&W is a true classic and the Clintonville location fits right in with what A&W is all about.    They even have a jukebox inside to go along with the frosted mug of rootbeer.  A&W is one of the original "fast food" experiences.   This location is right on Hwy 45 and for years I have stopped here on my way "up north" throughout the year or to "deer camp" in November.  Rather than using the drive thru I always go in to order and take in a little bit of the old time nostalgia.  The food is typical fast food that's not all that good for you, but that's why it tastes so good.

    The Clintonville A&W will always be a stop for me to consider every time I pass by on the highway.

    We stop here on our way to or from "UP NORTH" from Kenosha WI. We love their food, their root beer and the classic vibes. We bring our dog and walk him along the side of the building on the hill (don't worry we don't walk him in the cute little park in the lot, and we always pick up after him if needed). The dog loves their fries. Great family fun place to stop for a consistent meal at a great price.

    Great stop.  Root beer is so good served in the frosty mugs.  The chicken tenders are the best.  You have to get the Thai Chili dipping sauce.  

    The staff are really nice and helpful.

    I have no idea how their food is because I have not gone there to eat yet, but a short while ago my sister and I were rear-ended badly at the intersection right in front of this restaurant. Without hesitation, an employee came out of A&W and gave us free root beers and said to come inside of we needed any help or anything. We were alright, but really appreciated the care and concern. I will definitely be trying out their food this summer!

    Rootbeer floats were slightly disappointing. Less creamy than I've had in the past and no wifi available anymore.
